This is the view from my seat 32 D on the plane from Boston to Denver on Jan. 22. 2014. It was my first time to sketch on the plane. I enjoyed capturing details of seats and also communicating with people sitting next to me who gave me encouraging words which I really appreciated.

I went to NEUE GALERIE in NY on Jan. 20. 2014 to mostly see paintings of Egon Schiele that I'm a big fan of. There were only two paintings of his. It was amazing to see his original paintings and I was moved. I was so happy to get his books finally which I had been searching for.

I sketched this picture @ south side of Central Park in NY on Jan 20 2014 after I visited MoMa, Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum and NEUE Galerie. I was struggling to capture a carriage which was moving constantly, but it was fun and I learned a lot.

I created this painting "Hannah Chan" for a lovely couple and also my employer Etsuko Needham and her husband Peter Needham at Bistro Sakana. It was honour to paint Hannah's picture and I am grateful to them for this opportunity. Bistro Sakana is a Japanese owned & operated sushi and tapas restaurant.
